GX-Developer is a software program used for programming and controlling programmable logic controllers (PLCs) made by Mitsubishi Electric. It is used to create, edit, and debug ladder logic and other PLC programs, as well as to simulate and monitor the operation of PLCs. It is also used to configure communication settings and to connect to and monitor PLCs over networks. It supports Mitsubishi Electric’s FX, Q, and L series PLCs.

GX Developer Versions
GX Developer Version 1
The first version of GX Developer was released in the late 1990s and supported the MELSEC FX Series PLCs.
GX Developer Version 2
This version was released in the early 2000s and added support for the MELSEC Q Series PLCs.
GX Developer Version 3
This version was released in the mid-2000s and added support for the MELSEC L Series PLCs.
GX Developer Version 8
